Wow! Only tried the chicken curry but that was enough. Excellent! Small menu but it covers the Jamaican bases. Pic attached.
Ted greets everyone on arrival and you just love the guy immediately. 2 minute conversation and I feel we know each other already.
Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Jamaican fix in TBay
Came in here because of the great reviews around this place. As soon as I walked in, I was friendly greeted by Ted. I ordered a double order of jerk chicken (includes rice and beans) and I didn't look twice when I saw that the container was larger than normal. Paid just under $20 for the meal and took it home. When I opened the meal up, I was shocked on how much he stuffed the container. The rice was the complete bottom lid and the chicken was piled up.
Chicken was delicious, really good spice and heat. The rice and beans were truly authentic and mixed with the hot sauce it was amazing. Definitely don't skip the hot sauce if you love heat.
I will definitely be returning and getting more food from Ted's kitchen. A+

First time trying Jamaican food and really enjoyed it. Tried the double plate with jerked chicken and pork. Very tasty. The rice has great flavor. The hot sauce is really good. Nice kick to it. The owner was very nice and friendly. 5- star service. Very large portions too. Cash or debit card only.
